What areas do you cover - how far do you travel?

We cover Weymouth, Portland, Dorchester and surrounding areas. We will travel further afield for larger jobs so if you are in Dorset or a neighbouring county and have a large job that we might be able to help with then please give us a call for more information.

Is there anything we need to do before you arrive?

We ask for any small or breakable items to be removed from the rooms we will be working in. Larger items like sofas and beds we will move for you free of charge wherever possible.

We will need access to two power sockets and running water (preferably hot).

Do I need to vacuum before you arrive?

A thorough vacuum is all included in the price so you don’t need to worry about it.

What should I do if I have an unexpected spill on my carpet or upholstery?

  • First of all use white kitchen paper, toilet tissue or a towel to blot up as much of the spill as possible. Turn regularly until the liquid has been transferred. Never rub as this may damage the carpet.
  • It might be necessary to use a slightly damp towel to rinse any remaining spill from the fibres.

How long will my carpet and upholstery take to dry?

On average your carpets will be dry in 2 hours and upholstery dry in 3 hours (heavily soiled items may take longer to dry). Commercial carpets will be dry in approximately 30 minutes.

How often should I have my carpets cleaned?

For the average family home we recommend a deep hot water clean every 12 months. This will guarantee your carpets lasting longer and keep your home more hygienically clean. For busy commercial carpets we recommend every 6 months to help maintain heavy traffic areas and soilage.

Do you offer out of hours emergency call outs?

Yes we will always do our best to help whenever possible. We have a set call out fee which will apply. If you are faced with an unexpected emergency call us on 07809 676 627.

My children are allergic to cleaning detergents?

We have a large selection of cleaning solutions and can use 100% naturally derived solutions if required.

My dog has urinated on my carpet, what do I do?

Urine cannot be effectively removed by hand and has to be professionally rinse extracted. A special treatment will also need to be used to neutralise the urine.

Our sofa and carpet was protected from new. Does this mean it won’t need protecting again?

Any protector will weaken over time and be less effective protecting against spills. Protectors will typically last up to 12 months depending on the amount of use. At this point your carpets/upholstery will require additional protection.

I was quoted a price much cheaper than yours do you price match?

Sorry, unfortunately not. You get what you pay for and if it sounds too good to be true it usually is. There are many horror stories you hear about carpet cleaners. These splash and dash companies usually either charge very little money for a quick bad clean which usually over wets and could damage your carpet or they charge a small amount to get their foot in the door and then force customers into overpriced extras and are usually a skilled salesmen but a poor carpet cleaner.

We will never charge you more than we have quoted you and your complete satisfaction is our guarantee. We invest a lot of money in the latest training and equipment and promise to offer the best service, not the cheapest.

What are your payment terms?

Payment is strictly on completion unless prior arrangements have been made. This can be via cash, debit and credit cards or cheque.
